How to Book a Tee Time When the 7-Day or 14-Day Public Book Opens
The empty Saturday you keep refreshing is often not released yet. Write down the shop's 7-day or 14-day window, log in before that minute, and keep a second course whose book opens later.
Saturday looks empty because the public book has not opened. A 7-day sheet drops next Saturday this Saturday. A 14-day sheet already dropped last Saturday. Write down the shop's clock and be logged in when it opens.
The empty Saturday is still a week away
Refreshing next Saturday on a Wednesday is a different problem from a leftover sheet. If the shop runs a 7-day public book, next Saturday is not for sale yet. You are looking at a date the book has not released.

A 7-day book and a 14-day book are different races
A 7-day public book opens one week before the day you want. Want Saturday at 7:36? Be on the book the Saturday before, at the shop's drop time, not sometime that morning.
A 14-day book already ran that race a week earlier. By the time the 7-day crowd shows up, the primetime Saturday on a 14-day course is often gone. That is why a backup course whose book opens later is useful: you are not competing on the same clock.
The clock itself is not standard. City of Denver Golf posts at 7pm: 7 days for standard access, 14 days for loyalty pass holders. Golf Westminster opens 14 days out at 6am MST and requires a registered account with a card on file. Cranberry Township lets the public book 7 days out and residents 14 days, with online foursomes starting at 7am. Other shops still drop at midnight. Ask your shop. Do not assume Denver's 7pm or a midnight rumor.
Resident and player-card books open first
The public book is often the second window. A resident card, a player card, or a loyalty pass can open 2 to 7 extra days earlier. Denver's loyalty pass is 14 days; standard is 7. Cranberry residents get 14; everyone else gets 7.
If you play that muny more than a few times a year, the card is usually the real booking tool. Confirm it is attached to the same login you will use at drop. Denver's own FAQ says a pass on the wrong profile still shows a 7-day book.
Write down the shop's clock
Call the shop or read the course policy page. Write four things:
- How many days the public book opens
- How many days a resident, member, or loyalty login opens
- The exact drop time and time zone
- Whether the phone, the website, or a registered account is the only path that works at that minute
Then write one backup course whose book opens later. A 14-day muny is already picked over when a 7-day course dumps the next Saturday.
Be logged in before the drop
Have the account open. Password already works. Card on file if the shop requires it. Foursome names ready. First-choice time and two backups in the same hour.
At drop, book the first acceptable time. Do not hunt the perfect 7:36 while the 7:44 and 8:00 disappear.
If the site fails, call. Some shops take phone reservations only after an account exists. Westminster says phone bookings still need that account and card.

Missed the drop
You are now on leftovers and cancellations. That is a different hunt. Use the cancellation policy notes so you know when a no-show actually returns to the book. Call for a 1-some, a 2-some, or twilight. Do not keep refreshing the original 7:36 as if the release will run again.
Leave the midnight rumor
- Do not treat "7 days" as midnight everywhere.
- Do not send a booking bot at a muny that bans them.
- Do not book four Saturday mornings and no-show three of them.
